Agro-industry (cotton/textile and agri-food industries)

Visit to the Glo-Djigbé Special Economic Zone (45 km from Cotonou) Integrated industrial zone developed by ARISE IPP in partnership with the Republic of Benin. Visit of the textile park, including spinning and garment manufacturing sites.

Details of the visit

The Integrated Industrial Zone (Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone – GDIZ) is developed over an area of 1,640 hectares by ARISE IPP in partnership with the Republic of Benin. The objective of the zone is to encourage the establishment of businesses covering the entire value chain, from raw material supply to the export of finished products, including processing. The visit to the Textile Park includes several spinning and garment manufacturing sites, equipped with advanced technologies, ensuring production quality, productivity, and environmental consideration.

Visit to the family-owned company 'Les Jus Tillou' in Allada (50 km from Cotonou) Visit to a fruit processing site (mainly pineapple) supplied by 1,600 local producers.

A fruit processing company (mainly pineapple), Les Jus Tillou handles the production, processing, and export marketing of fresh and processed fruits. The visit will highlight the achievements and needs of this key sector for agriculture in Benin, while also showcasing the social inclusion measures implemented within a family business framework.

Visit 2:
Cultural and creative industries
(in Cotonou)

Visit to the EYA Site, Community Center of Excellence (culture, music, sport) EYA is a cultural, sports, and educational community center for youth, created in 2021. The site includes a recording studio, an amphitheater, a computer lab, a library, a sports area, a green space, and a dining area.

This complex aims for excellence through an innovative and inclusive initiative focused on education programs, community life development, and local engagement by promoting youth access and professional integration. The visit will offer insight into this Beninese initiative and the opportunities it presents for the cultural and creative industries sector, particularly for young people.

Visit to the 'La Centrale' Studio, Benin’s Leading Music Producer La Centrale, Benin’s leading music producer, is a communication and events agency. With over 100 artists and more than 30 organized events, it reflects the strong growth of the artistic production model in Benin and the region.

The visit will showcase a key player in Benin’s music production scene, essential to the development of the cultural and creative industries (CCI).

Visit 3:
Digital technology and digital transformation (in Cotonou)

Visit to the company Concentrix Outsourcing services for support functions and remote business development across the French-speaking world. Concentrix offers outsourcing services for support and remote business development roles, using AI modules and chatbots.

The subsidiary launched in 2021 in Benin—a region with a rich employment pool—aims to serve the entire French-speaking market. The company places strong emphasis on employee well-being and support measures to foster staff retention. The visit to Concentrix’s Beninese site will highlight a key player in digital transformation, particularly active in business process outsourcing—a sector promoted by the mission and growing in Benin.

Visit to the company AEIG/Epitech A hub for higher education, skills development, and entrepreneurship support in the digital sector.

Epitech offers both degree-granting programs and skills development initiatives, designed to support and promote talent at every stage of growth. Epitech Benin positions itself as a key player in digital transformation, with an innovative campus training a new generation of developers, entrepreneurs, and digital leaders ready to tackle economic and technological challenges. As part of the AIEG Group, which runs support projects for young entrepreneurs, the Epitech site also serves as a launchpad for youth initiatives in Benin.
